ACT antimalarial (tablets)
Arthemed Tablets are a fixed-dose artemisinin-based combination therapy (ACT) containing artemether and lumefantrine, used for the treatment of acute uncomplicated malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum.
Active ingredients
Each tablet contains: Artemether 80 mg + Lumefantrine 480 mg.
Pack size
1 × 6 tablets (blister pack).
How to take
Dosing depends on body weight. The usual regimen for this strength is 6 doses over 3 days (0h, 8h, 24h, 36h, 48h, 60h). Take with food or a drink containing some fat (e.g., milk) if possible.
