This medicine works by blocking the chemicals which generate pain signals in the body. This medicine helps by preventing the formation of pain causing signals in the body. Hostan is also used to treat symptoms of painful menstrual bleeding, to treat abnormally heavy bleeding at menstruation, and to relieve pain associated with swelling and stiffness of the joints caused by rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.
