Piriton Allergy Syrup helps treat hayfever and other allergy symptoms. Piriton Syrup is suitable for children aged 1 year and over.

An antihistamine solution that provides relief of allergy symptoms such as itchy, watery eyes, runny or blocked nose, sneezing and itchy skin reactions. Ideal for common allergies, such as hayfever, skin allergies, food allergies, pet allergies, house dust mite allergies, insect bites and mould spore allergies.

Dosage:

- Adults and children over 12 years: 10ml (two 5ml spoonful) every four to six hours. Maximum 24mg(60ml) in 24 hours.
- Children 6-12 years: 5ml every four to six hours. Maximum 12mg(30ml) in 24 hours.
- Children 2 to 5 years: 2.5ml (half a 5ml spoonful) every four to six hours. Maximum 6mg(15ml) in 24 hours.
- Children 1 to 2 years: 2.5ml (half a 5ml spoonful) twice daily. Not recommended under 1 year.

Contains:

Chlorphenamine maleate 2mg/5ml.

Caution:

May cause drowsiness - if affected, do not drive or operate machinery. Avoid alcohol. Use with caution in enlarged prostate, glaucoma and liver problems, asthma, epilepsy and thyroid problems. Not to be used within 14 days of taking MAOI therapy. Use in pregnancy and breast feeding only on medical advice.
