📋 Product Profile: Cofmix Junior Syrup (Dr. Meyer / Farmex Meyer Limited)

Active Ingredients (per 5 mL):

• Diphenhydramine HCl – 5.5–7 mg

• Sodium Citrate – ~20–28.5 mg

• Menthol – ~0.25 mg

Mechanism of Action:

• Diphenhydramine: antihistamine to reduce coughing

• Sodium citrate: thins mucus, easing expectoration

• Menthol: relieves throat irritation and soothes cough reflex 

✅ Indications & Usage

• Designed for dry, irritating coughs in children

• Helps alleviate throat irritation, nasal congestion, and related discomfort 

Dosage Guidelines (typical):

• 6 months–1 year: 2.5 mL every 6 hours

• 1–5 years: 5 mL every 6 hours

• 6–12 years: 10 mL every 6 hours

• Consult a doctor if symptoms worsen or persist after 5 days
