Woods Peppermint Antitussive Syrup

🌿 What It Is

• An antitussive cough syrup combining a cough suppressant with an antihistamine—aimed at managing non-productive (dry) coughs triggered by allergies 

• Commonly available in 60 mL or 100 mL bottles 

🧪 Active Ingredients (per 5 mL):

• Dextromethorphan HBr 7.5 mg – suppresses the cough reflex

• Diphenhydramine HCl 12.5 mg – antihistamine to reduce allergy-related symptoms

💊 Dosage Guidelines:

• Adults & children >12 years: 10 mL (2 tsp), up to 3 times daily

• Children 6–12 years: 5 mL (1 tsp), 3 times daily

• Drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, constipation; may impair alertness 

• Avoid driving or heavy machinery after use .
